Certainly! We will install the SIM card in the GPS tracker for you and ensure that it works. For the best quality assurance to our customers, we thoroughly test every product.
The SIM card is lifelong. You have a limited number of text messages that you can send, but all notifications come through the app, which is free. The SIM card works in over 150 countries.
It may occur that a tracker is temporarily unreachable. This can have various causes, but the most common one is that the SIM card is trying to connect to a network that does not have internet. If this happens, the tracker will restart itself and search for a working network.
- If the tracker remains offline for a longer period, please contact us. We are happy to assist you in resolving the issue.
Each tracker in our assortment comes with a magnet which means it can be attached almost anywhere. Although our trackers are IP65 (water splatter proof), they are not intended to be submerged in water. Placing the tracker under a car using the magnet is an option, but be careful of speed bumps, obstacles, and other elements on the road that could damage the tracker. If the tracker is damaged in such a scenario, we cannot provide a warranty.
We recommend placing the tracker inside your vehicle, somewhere on the interior. Under the steering wheel or under the seat, for example, will keep the tracker dry and easily accessible.
Currently, we are using two apps for our trackers. A license is included for both, and you have unlimited use on both apps. Adding trackers is simple. Scan the QR code or enter the IMEI number (found on the tracker) and you have added the tracker to the app.
This is one of the most frequently asked questions we hear. It’s mainly due to usage and the settings of the tracker itself within the app. A tracker with default settings can last a reasonable amount of time, but it needs to be charged every so often. Trackers have an interval (waiting period) of 1/10/15 minutes when sending a signal and transmitting their location. This frequency of ‘pings’ is quite high and can drain the battery faster.
We recommend setting the trackers to Power Safe mode to extend the frequency of sending a signal which leads to longer battery life. With this setting, the battery can last for 1-2 months, depending on average usage (1-2 hours per day). For example, if a tracker is installed on a boat, it doesn’t need to send the exact location every minute, as it will drain the battery quickly. By setting the interval to one hour or even higher, you’ll notice the battery lasts much longer. Additionally, regularly checking the location of your tracker via the app consumes data and battery. We list the standby period of the trackers on our website.
Please check if the tracker is online and if the settings are properly configured. If you did not allow notifications during the app installation process, this may be the reason. Ensure that the notifications are enabled for what you are looking for. The app has many options, and the one you are searching for may be disabled.
Have you tried everything and can’t get your tracker working again? Don’t worry! Feel free to contact us and we will be happy to help. When reporting a problem, please also provide the IMEI number of your tracker. If the tracker still doesn’t work after our help and you ordered it within the past year, then you are entitled to a warranty and can return the tracker.
